About Joshua Zimmerman
Joshua Zimmerman is a Michigan-based solo pianist and composer known for his emotive and introspective music.
Joshua released his debut album Crossroads in 2017, marking the start of his recording career. In 2025, he released two albums: Finding Peace and Light Beyond the Shadow, both showcasing his evolving style and deepening musical expression. He is currently writing new material for his fourth solo piano album, scheduled for release in 2026.

A deeply personal and emotionally resonant work
Alongside his solo career, Joshua owns and operates The Piano Cottage, a well-regarded private music academy in Grand Rapids, Michigan, where he fosters a supportive, community-driven environment for aspiring musicians.
His music has resonated with listeners seeking peaceful, reflective instrumental pieces, and he continues to build his presence as a solo artist. When he’s not composing or performing, Joshua enjoys spending time with his wife and their three children. The family is active in their local church and values making meaningful memories together.

The absolute beauty and magic of the piano keys lay down the path to understanding the meaning of the track titles every time. If Finding Peace is the goal, then it was fully accomplished in this recording.
-Keith Hannaleck, New Age Music Reviews
The ten tracks are not about dancing on clouds or uncontrollable giggles, but focus on much deeper and more meaningful aspects of happiness and joy - his young children, his relationship with his wife, a rainy day, etc. The overall tone of the album is one of peace (hence the title!!!) and contentment with an emphasis on meaningful melodies and expression.

Remarkable, authentic natural talent. While listening, I could "feel" the music coming from that piano. Josh is, hands down, the most impressive pianist I have ever heard in my lifetime.
